Tracey Bryan
I have been a COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) since 2013, an experience that has profoundly influenced my communication style, empathy, and dedication to supporting families. Since 2015, I have worked with Missouri First Steps in the field of Applied Behavioral Analysis, where I am deeply committed to helping children achieve meaningful developmental progress.
My professional philosophy centers on a holistic approach—collaborating closely with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure each child receives comprehensive, individualized support. In addition to my professional work, I am actively involved in the foster care community as both a foster and adoptive parent. These experiences have strengthened my belief that family connection and collaboration are at the heart of every child’s success
Outside of work, I value quality time with my family. I enjoy boating, visiting the beach, traveling, and creating lasting memories together.
Trisha Short
I graduated with an Associate of Science from St. Louis College of Health Careers in 2015. Shortly after graduating, I began my professional journey as a preschool teacher from 2015 to 2017, nurturing young learners through creative play and developmental growth.
My dedication to early childhood development led me to join Missouri First Steps as an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Implementer, where I worked closely with children as young as 18 months old. Through this role, I discovered my passion for individualized support and family-centered early intervention, helping each child meet milestones within a program I deeply loved.
In 2024, I became the Director of Small Wonders, where I led with compassion, structure, and a vision for continuous improvement. In 2015, I proudly purchased the program with my sister Tracey, rebranding it as Ohana Play School.
I have five amazing children all living their best lives around the world, and I am expecting my first grandchild! I enjoy the outdoors and traveling with my husband Chris.
